    Hello all

My old potterton prima f boiler is on its last legs.

Apparently the circuit board requires replacing. I have been quoted 450 euro for part and labour. The technician was honest that it is probably better replacing the entire boiler however i was hoping to do so in the summer.

Are there any views on this.

    thanks

I wouldn't expect to pay any more than €200 for the pcb and there easy to change. I think €450 is a bit much. Parts can still be got for the Prima F and they are normally a solid boiler.

perhaps some one here might have a salvaged one in there vans that would get you through the winter.

Look up "compumerv" on ebay and see if they have a repaired circuit board. I got one for my suprima 50 for £45.
