Folks, looks like my BB is gone (it has been creaking a bit but I noticed lateral play the last time I was out). I have a tiagra compact drive train that I put on the bike last May. If the BB only lasted this long I was hoping to get maybe a 105 or ultegra on CRC (they are doing a good deal at the moment) as I was thinking…

If the BB only lasted this long I was hoping to get maybe a 105 or ultegra on CRC (they are doing a good deal at the moment) as I was thinking they could last longer.

Two questions
1 will the 105 or ultegra last longer
2 will they work with my tiagra set up

I assume it will be a yes to both but just confirming.

If there is a more reliable BB maybe someone could advise also.
