.... You should get it cleared before selling.

Sell it on the northern or english websites.

Its costing a tad over 2500 to clear it i see and you would probably clear an 05 E90 320 now for half that money.
I did try gumtree uk etc but the 525d are hard to shift and alot of Northern sellers are now using Donedeal.

Do you have the full V5 in your name? If not it will be hard to sell.

actually not in my name but didnt think it would make that much of a difference once i had the complete v5 and with service records, receipt of purchase etc

Doesn't for vrt registration but would put off potential purchasers as car could be stolen.

Legally you have to register it before selling it in the republic..

no problem with hpi checking... all 100% legit but suppose it all down to price.. high motor tax rates do not help either

If I was looking for a car, and I saw yours for a nice price, but not in your name, I wouldn't touch it with a bargepole!

There are two main reasons it's not in peoples names; stolen, or the "selling for a friend who has just emigrated" scam. You may have a legit reason, but not being in your name would throw a lot of people off it.

yes know what you mean and have original receipt from garage with my name/address on it and is hpi clear, only have it 4 months but fed up with it now, another thing not helping is being a 2.5cc car and thus higher tax.
anyway a m-sport on donedeal someone is looking 13000 euro and its over 3000 to vrt .... crazy price...

im only looking 5000 for mine( mine is se) but its off to the UK websites now again to try and advertise it again
