I've changed two window regulators on my sisters A4 in 3 months has anyone any advise regarding them I bought from eBay and seemed good quality, maybe should have gone genuine or do I have another problem? Thanks

With the amount of issues across the board with these, I feel they are just generally sh1t.
There is not a whole lot more involved in the window operation other than the regulator plus motor. When you fit the new part, if the window runs up and down without undue resistance, you would have to assume that all is well. There is probably minor adjustment that can be carried out when fitting the regulator but vw/audi regulators are crap imo, genuine parts or not.

We only fit genuine window regs to VW group cars. Nothing else lasts in them.
