CD's constantly eject MB-Pro

    Macbook Pro 2½ years old so the warranties gone and as the title states, no matter what CD/DVD I insert, it keeps ejecting it 10/15 seconds later. I can hear it running, or at least trying to, but no joy with any of them.

    I've reset the pram on startup, twice, and still nothing. Any ideas and or suggestions?

    Ring Apple and ask them to fix it under the Sale of Goods Act 1980. Look it up for yourself, and get familiar with it. €25 for the Small Claims Court if they want to go down that road. The Superdrive shouldn't break in 2.5 years......

    The hard drive also had to be replaced just undera year after I had it. They replaced it under the warranty no problem, but this time I'll go over that act before I call :)
