Changing the top of a tap

Hi lads the cold symbol and the hot symbol aremixed up, is there any way to change the top of the taps around. I have attached a pic. Thanks Ps the tops are kind of sunk into the head of the tap,

get a small knife and wedge it up, theres an 'o' ring around it which holds it in place
