As the title says. This will probably be watchable on the player soon, it's this evening's Nationwide.

The land was bought with the big house, with, from what I gathered, little clue as to what was there. What was there was a village, with some very quick mention of its set up, and a bridge now collapsed under water. St Nicholas' tomb also in the Church.

I had never heard of the place, it was a lovely little feature, so thought I'd share.

edit : for clarity, it's not about Jerpoint Abbey but some land near it.

Kilkenny county council commissioned a heritage survey of the Nore in 2009.
The built heritage survey was carried out by Barry Fitzgibbon and Richard Jennings of Kilkenny Archaeology.
Their findings were presented to the Kilkenny Heritage Forum on the 5th of this month.
Here's map 13 from their survey.
