OK so I'm getting sick of getting wet shoulders while carrying my bag after rain showers and have decided to invest in a push trolley. Can anyone recommend a good push trolley and the cheapest place to purchase it? I have been reading about the Clicgear trolley and am swaying towards it from reviews.
    Thanks.

Bought a powakaddy twinline there at the start of summer. Find it great, very light and easy to push. Around €115 i think at the time. Would definitely recommend it

Thanks, is it the twinline 1? Does it fold up well? Looks like the twinline 3 has an umbrella holder, extendable handle and folds up a little smaller. I wonder if it's worth the extra €30.

Twinline 3 doesn't come with umbrella holder

It is the twinline 1 alright. Folds up tidy in a matter of seconds. I find it very strong but also very light. No umbrella holder but would you really need that in this country?!!!!!!!

Umbrella holder wouldn't bother me but the size folded away would influence my choice. I must check them out in a shop somewhere.

The I Cart by Masters Golf Is a serious piece of Kit too, 1 click and it folds down very easy and quite compact for a large trolley, moves very nicely too.

+1 on the Powakaddy Twinline mentioned above, I got the Twinline 3 earlier this summer and find it very good, review on it here
    http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?p=79769862
My father has the Twinline 1 for over a year now and equally finds it very good, it doesn't fold quite as small as the handle isn't collapsible but it's narrower with the wheels still attached than the Twinline 3.

The umbrella holder is an additional attachment you can get for the Twinline 3, it doesn't come as standard.

I tried to pick up the twin line 3 in two different places in the west and apparently you cannot get them anymore. I will check out Dublin next week and see if I can get one. I did see the Masters icart 1 and thought it looked quite good and folded down quite nicely.

I have heard that they are not making them anymore, new one must be on the way.

Fairly sure that you will pick one up though, must be plenty of them about.

I posted this on another thread but it might help you in choosing a new trolley!!

Golf and back trouble, especially disc issues are a nightmare. I was told a by a leading sports physiotherapist some years ago that golf pull trolleys caused more back damage than any other golf manoeuvres. I was having some problems with lower back pain. The advice was use an electric trolley or carry your bag but NEVER EVER PULL a trolley behind you. If you must use a manual trolley, PUSH IT!.
Apparently you tend to arch your back when pulling it and this exposes the discs under strain, a recipe for serious disc damage. The most at risk area is when pulling a trolley up any incline.

    cheers

    Peter
