Hi, we have no antenna cable at home so indoor antenna is the best at the moment. Our Walker WP12DTB-R came in today, Saorview approved, when I connect and scan for channels it finds nothing at all. Can someone advice on what should I do? Thank you, Anton

Don't give up on the indoor aerial yet. Try it upstairs, in every room, near a window, or hanging out a window.

Each time do an automatic rescan for channels. If it works anywhere you can just use a coax extension lead with it.

If that does not work then put in your address here:
    http://www.saorview.ie/make-the-switch/coverage-map/

it will tell you where your nearest mast is and so which side of the house would be best.

If an indoor aerial hanging out an upstairs window on the best side of the house does not pick up anything then you would need a rooftop aerial. Have a look at neighbours houses and see what they have done.

Remeber to rescan each time you move the aerial.

OK! Problem solved, hope this will help the others :) (this is very blond)
I checked on Soarview website and my channel was 53, in SETUP I went for manual settings and typed that in, turned my indoor antenna 180* still leaving it beside the TV and wallah! I'm watching RTE 2 like a boss, in HD ^_^

Call in an installer to fit an outdoor aerial.
