    Hi,

Where I could buy a 100% latex mattress (NO spring, NO polyurethane foam) in Ireland, North or UK (shop or on-line) with Galway area delivery?

    Thanks

This is what I thought, there is not shop selling 100% latex mattress in Ireland.

    Thanks

You could try Core Mattresses - they're based in Galway and Dublin. I've been looking at their mattresses online and they seem to use talalay latex, although I have to investigate it a bit more myself! They have a sale on at the moment - but certainly not cheap! Can't remember the web address, but just google Core Mattresses Galway and you should get the site details.

Lol. I was totally expecting a porn site, sex shop, or site selling condoms.

    Hi,

I am back in this old thread I opened at the end of last year.

First I contacted bigmickey but he couldn't get any full latex mattress. This is not in their catalogue.
Then I contacted Core Natural Sleep, run by Eric. Thanks to iora_rua for the address.

Eric has a small shop in Galway (and Dublin as well) with 100% natural latex mattresses. Mattresses have an organic cotton cover, one side winter with wool, one side summer with cotton.
I bought one few months ago so I have now some hindsight and I would not sleep on anything else again. Density advised by Eric for my weight is exactly what I need.
Unlike the Irish tradition that say "as deep is a mattress, as comfortable it is", I witness this if absolutely wrong!

Moreover, after a month, Eric called me to get some feedback and insure that I enjoyed the new mattress.
That is a customer care !!!

Today, if your are living in Ireland, don't lost your time, this is the only one and unique shop for full latex and I recommend it.

    I hope this will help.

Thats a great recommendation. Good on you mate for doing that! (Im not Eric btw or affiliated, just a randomer ;) ) Just appreciate someone that takes the time to do something like this for good service. I'll keep it in my head for when I need a bed anyway.

    Unfortunately you are right.
I had Eric on the phone today, he told me business was not good enough and he closed end of january 2014.
He confirmed there is no other full latex mattress shop in Ireland.

Sorry to hear that and sorry for the next people looking for this kind of mattress.

Not an easy one to quote Eric on "...no other full natural latex shop in Ireland" as we are presenting the Dormiente range in Ireland since 12 years and Eric knows about the Healthbuild Ltd concept very well (Auro natural paint products were sold in his Galway shop)
Instead of pouring funds into large showrooms which may increase prices 20% or more we prefer to present the relevant orthopaedic types for a test display - and of course much more in duvets, pillows, wood samples for beds. This allows us to retain prices at the levels promoted in Germany.

I hope you will have more customers with this thread

    All my best
