A quick LUAS question...

    Please see this link:

I want to get on the Red Line Luas at Jervis and go the whole way out to the end of the line in Saggart. I see from the map there is a diversion at Belgard that goes out to Tallaght.

How do I know it won't go there instead of Saggart when I get on?

    Additional info:

I will be hoping to get on at Jervis street between 7-8:30 pm Sunday evening...

Every tram will have a sign on the front to where it's going as well as the timetable at each stop. They state if it's the square or saggart. It's the same way for going to Connolly or to The Point.

The Luas displays it's destination on the front, be it Tallaght or Saggart. At off peak times, services will have a connecting Luas at Belgard; the link below details this. In your case a change will be required.

Look at the front of the tram - the destination is displayed.

Best bet is to get on the first tram that comes regardless of whether it is going to Tallaght or not, and take it to Belgard, as a shuttle operates between Belgard and Saggart at off peak times.

Not only that but the signs on the platform will tell you when the next tram is due and where it's going
