Wall Paper Hanger

Hi Guys,

I am getting my house done up at the moment and I was wondering what the going rate is these days to hang up wallpaper. Basically I am getting the sitting room, hall, landing & one bedroom done. The walls are painted so there would be no removal of old paper.

I paid €100 to have 2 feature walls done, am guessing you would be looking at approx €150 a day. I got a guy that had an ad in local paper.

Around €30 per roll if more than 7rolls.

Alot depends on the type of paper also. Some are real easy to hang while others can be a pain.

As mentioned about 30euro a roll is the going rate for standard, can rise quite a bit depending on paper.

As cardwizzard said it depends on the type of paper but it also depends on the walls. If there is a lot of corners it requires more work and is usually charged at a higher rate

And get someone how knows what they are at. Mate of mine had a "friend of a friend" do some wall paper for him. Its patterened and if you look close at room corners you can see where its crooked ever so slightly but looks BRUTAL. Pay the bit extra
