Hi,

I live in the Dublin 7 area and there has been an increase in anti social behaviour lately - car windows smashed, house alarms purposely set off 'for the craic'.
The Gardai recommended to us to get a security camera and mount it above the front room window.

Couple of questions:

Has installing a camera helped anyone in a similar situation ie has did petty incidents decrease as a result?

Can anyone recommend a decent camera? I have seen one in Argos for €100 but I would like to get a decent one first time.
