    hi there

just wondering weather any one has been to a wedding in the amber springs hotel and spa in wexford and if so what was it like?

we've(myself and my family) have been there many times and found both staff and food etc to be of a very high standerd but since booking our wedding ive been hearing one or two complaints mostly to do with weddings. i myself have never been to a wedding there so i dont know.

any one have an ideas on what its like?

Hi, I had my wedding at their sister hotel The Ashdown. I had originally booked The Ambersprings, but got much better value for money by changing and also didn't feel particularly well treated, along with hearing a report from an x staff member about mass food poisoning at a wedding, that I trusted.

yea i know what you mean. the two people that gave this opinion asked were we were getting married and then offered this advice to us of their own accord (which i think was a little bit wrong of them, at that stage i would say nothing if it were me cause the couple have already booked) i guess your right tho. i think we'll go with our gut and ignore them, everyone has different opinions of the same experience's!

and the hotel cant be that bad as when we went to book they were pretty much booked up every weekend from next may to oct!!!

Played there 6-7 times a year for last few years and never seen a bad night there. Staff always nice.
If there's an isolated story of something bad happening address your concern with the hotel. They'll put your mind at ease and that's no bad thing if you're worried about it.
Sometimes things go wrong so then need to find out was the hotel aware of it and what did they do to fix it.
