    Hi,
a colleague noticed that some of the bike racks have been cut where locks attach. So a bike can easily be lifted and stolen. I've reported this to security. If you lock your bike in East Point Business Park, you better go check it right now. Will post pics in a minute.

Might be worth writing on the affected bike stands with permanent marker saying something like "DO NOT LOCK YOUR BIKE HERE, BIKE RACK HAS BEEN CUT" ?

East Point management are going to remove them.

Its becoming an epidemic in Eastpoint....management really need to improve the lock up facility for cyclists. Some of the racks aren't even secured to the ground  Pathetic

Let them know here https://twitter.com/EastPointDublin or through your company rep. They do respond from my experience.

I have complained before but in fairness the park is accessible by the public and security can't challenge everyone going in and out. They need cages around the bikes accessible by swipe card.

Presumably that's security removing the dodgy bars so people don't accidentally lock their bikes? (I'm not sure what's going on in the photo.)

Yep, the park management finished the job which the thieves started. The locking loop is totally gone on the compromised racks. I'd be wary about locking to any of those remaining loops again.

Park it beside your desk so!
