Just watched this episode!! WOW!

Thought it was excellent!

I'm not going to say too much about it right now as I realise not many will have watched it.

I'd advise against watching the preview of next week's episode at the end as it seemed to give a good bit away, more than usual...

..but it looks like it's going to be a great finale!!


Edit: I didn't mean to go from Average to Awful so quickly! So 'Poor' would be a better way to think of option 4!

That last line by Hannah...

It's a shame it had to end like that--because she was surely innocent--but then again something like that was bound to happen sooner or later. I don't think Dexter would have ever fully been able to trust her anyway.

Also that unusually warm scene between LaGuerta and Angel was there for a reason, I'm betting one of them bites the dust in the finale, probably LaGuerta because she's so close to Dexter (and Deb).

In one way I'm pissed off at myself for watching next week's preview because it seemingly gave away a lot but in another way I'm glad I did because now I cant wait. I'll be in the middle of college finals come next Monday but an hour out of my study time for that finale will be well worth it.

Please do NOT talk about the previews for next week - I've no idea beyond the very tantalizing episode name!

Good episode and I liked how they wrapped up Hannah's storyline. It felt suitable - not sure I believe she did try and murder Deb but Deb's right : you can't trust her.

Quinn's storyline is a bit of a snooze so hopefully will tie into the main storyline a bit better.

One of the most tense scenes in the season in the docks at the end. I'm guessing that not killing him is going to be a very big mistake when he comes back and offers to testify against Dex.

I'm guessing Angel might die now? I mean he's going to retire which is always the death sentence in a cop show. He hasn't done much this year and I'd like to see his death really fuel LaGuerta.

Fantastic episode. Deb really was willing to do *anything* including poison herself! There was no way she wouldn't have tasted that her water contained a strong solution of a pharmaceutical. Pretty much all drugs taste terrible. Hannah wouldn't be so sloppy as to use that much "poison" leading to that much remaining evidence either.

Not happy to see Hannah go like this as I'm pretty sure she is innocent.

I was thinking that myself about Deb at the time. I reckon that's definitely the case.

How would Hannah know which bottle of water she'd grab from the fridge and when? For all she knew, she'd be on the sofa drinking it.

Just doesn't seem like her style.

one slight problem I had was that Dexter seemed unconcerned that Hannah would spil the beans on him? otherwise good episode....surprise mother****er! could it be?

the other quibble was the old police boss not being suspicious about Dexter

Nah I think that'll be Dexter having a flashback. No way is Doakes alive. If he is, it will be worse than Dallas when 'it was all a dream'.

I agree with most on hear that Deb poisioned herself to turn Dexter against Hannah, well at least that's what the writers should do anyway.

I wonder will Hannah rat on Dexter or use the info as leverage?

I thought it was a good episode but is anyone else finding Dexter's inner monologue/narrating boring at this stage, it seemed particularly heavy on it this episode and made it drag a bit for me.

Great episode. Deb poisoning herself is so obvious however. I hope they don't make a big deal about it and turn it into a big M Night twist.

for me it was poor episode. so silly mistakes by dexter knowing that la guerta is into him and going to kill his mother killer.... than hannah going to prison and she knows more about him than anyone.... he is fu..k.d from every side now. way to easy to go down. is this last season??

Good episode, great tension! The finale is crucial, if done right then this could be remembered as a great season, but if they mess it up it could wind up being pretty disappointing.

Need to avoid the preview for next week anyway as apparently they're pretty spoilerific!

Straight away knew Deb did it herself. Like Hannah said, if she wanted her dead, she'd be dead. Surprised Dexter didnt cop it since Hannah doesnt leave evidence behind.

Also, who the fcuk would pick Deb over Hannah? :pac:

Batista is dead. It's around Christmas Day and he's retiring on the first of January. No way is he going to live that long. Retirement is a death sentence in police related tv shows.

Glad they seem to have moved on from Deb being in love with Dexter, that would have dragged the whole season down. Assuming they dont go back to that, it's going to be hard for them to fcuk it up at this stage.
