I am going to Nicaragua in the summer for a month as part of UCD Volunteer Overseas. I am looking to buy either a camera or camcorder to record this time as berst I can. I was wondering if you boardsies have any thoughts on which one I should get. Also what type of camera/camcorder would be best?

Why not get one device that will do both.

While that looks brilliant...Theres no way I could afford it!
As part of this /volunteer Overseas I have to raise €2500 as it is so I need to be looking at something cheaper.. The sales after christmas might be raided!
