    Hi i have what i think is a vintage spring tooth harrow in my field and i was interested in restoring it as i have plenty of spare time on my hands......has any one an idea of the cost involved????is there any point?????

    wire brush and a few tins of hammerite to do it cheap. you could go the whole hog and get it sandblasted and spray painted.

    no idea what it would be worth afterwards though if you're thinking of selling for profit

    I have a david brown one gone off to be blasted at the minute, id say 30 quid or so will have it blasted, i have a spare drop of oxide primer to scoot onto it and then 2 coats of DB hunting pink !
    For resale i dont think it would be worth the hassle there not worth a pile !

    ya i probably wouldnt do the whole sandblasting process even tho its the best,its the s-tines?would they need replacing or a gud coat of paint would do!
