    Hello All,

Attached are photos of the main rust issues on the E220 Coupe I bought a while back.
Thankfully bar one of the jacking points and both front wheel arches, the rust on it is not too bad which is good news.

With regard to the rotten jacking point on the passenger side, the sill is hollow so would it be best to inject something into this area to stop any rust eating its way out so to speak.
The other 3 jacking points, I intend to wire brush and clean and paint to seal them up.
The wheel arches I still dont know what to do; suggestions welcome!!!!! But it will deffo be taken to someone to clean up........ I presume a decent panel beater could cut and weld in a new skin?????
The wings, I will live with for the time been as they are now too bad yet..... Drivers side one, I will clean up at the bottom and paint to ensure the rust slows.
Anyone with suggestions / advice welcome
    Thanks,
    Islanderre

The W124 rusts in very few places but if the rust is that bad in those areas (particularly the inner arches) go and check the rear subframe mounts. There are four of them and if the front ones are gone, its gonna be a long haul .... :(

    W124man,

Good news is that the only rust I have across is in the photos above...... their is very slight rust bubbles in the spare wheel well but nothing serious.

    Thanks for replying.
