looking for a mechanic in the Athy area please.
car is a 2001 Nissan Almera hatchback. 3 door.

dont worry got the car home by sitting the 2 year old child on the bonnet and got her to play with the wipers to clear the windscreen.

anyway, I had a look, and tried to fix the problem,
the motor still works, one of the arms that is attached to the motor rotary thing has come loose, I tried to reattach it but the motor needs to come out and it possibly needs a nut or a pincer clip thingy.

so, to the point, does anybody know or recommend a mechanic or friend in the Athy area that could fix this problem.

That's a wiper linkage by the sounds of it. Source one in a scrapyard.
