Jasper and Jasper Disposable E-Cig

Got this weeks ago but decided to make the switch today after reading about it on boards. I opened it up and was surprised at how close to a real cig it replicates.

It is 16mg. I am just wondering how many puffs should I draw from it? I mean how many puffs do we normally take on average of a normal ciggerette? 10 -15? I would not want to overdo it on the nicotine I guess.

Also, can it be damaged and leak? If so what kind of damage needs done to it in order for it to leak?

Have you any stories of getting a leak?

Take as many as you feel you should to feel like you don't need another puff. It doesn't need to be finished like we thought a cigarette had to be. Pick up and put down whenever you want.
If you start to feel a little like you've downed an espresso, take a break - there's your limit.

The device that holds the liquid in the Jaspers are cartomisers. These are filled with foam that holds the liquid and they don't leak unless you overfill them with liquid yourself.
If you do over-fill a carto, it'll be gurgly - just disconnect the carto and give it a quick, light blow over a tissue (ooh-er) and you should see the offending juice (saucy).
    Good to go again.

Thanks very much I appreciate the reply.

The one I have is 16mg. I smoke 20 a day. Is 16mg e-cig strong enough for that kind of habit do you think?

If it's hitting the spot, it is, but if you have it permanently attached to your mouth it's not.

People have different draws, hold in longer or shorter, mouth or (somehow) lung inhale.
Some that were on 20 a day get by fine on low mg juice. I used to be around the ten a day mark and I kept searching for what could hit me hardest and stop me from using the ecig like a soother. Whatever suits the user.
I'd usually tell a newbie to start on 18mg, so 16 isn't too far off.

Bump higher for a go (although...don't J&J carts just go up to 16mg?).
I doubt the throathit'll be too strong off one of those batteries. The worst that'll happen is you'll need less puffs before you start tweaking.

Yeah I found that I had to warm it up a bit before any vape came out of it or got any hit off it. I always find that I have to take a really hard and long draw of it before I would get that hit in the lungs that I would normally get from an original cig.

Other than that it does me fine and I am over the moon with it.

Looking at the prices of the J&J (and any other disposables) it would be an expensive habit if you don't get a rechargeable kit ASAP ..

I have yet to see a disposable that lasts 1/2 the amount of time as a single pack of fags TBH, the battery always dies before the juice even runs out - the only thing they are good for IMHO is a "standby" unit for a plane journey or something where your main "proper" ecig would draw too much attention.

Yes they can break if you sit on them or have them in tight trouser pockets, they can leak if broken or if overfilled the worst damage you'll really do though is stain your pants a bit with a pee colored liquid and smell funky :P

If you are serious about using the ecig all the time get a lanyard so you can keep it your ecig around your neck or small hard case to slip in your pocket.

As others have said - draw on it until you feel satisfied, your body will know when its had enough of its nicotine hit.

    500 puffs? That's a definite lie.
Which means you couldn't possibly be a customer, as you'd know it was a lie and be disappointed, as opposed to the vendor perspective - "I know this is a lie, but I'd better try to advertise it on boards as such anyway."

What's the deal with this sudden influx?

Wish I could turn and get the Kanger twist but will have to wait till new year. Got J&J. Their cartridges are costing me 58 euro a month meaning I smoke one a day and usually finish them in 6 days, on the 7th and 8th day I'd have to buy their disposables whilst I await the cartridges coming in the mail. Their cartridges are 6.99 euros. so thats actually almost 100 euros a month and I might as well be on ciggerettes.

Before anyone asks the chemists don't stock J&J cartridges....but all the retail shops stock their disposables??? hmmm something fishy about that one and having to buy all their products online etc etc.

You could always top up the cartomizers with eLiquid making them last much longer, and much much cheaper, allowing you to get maybe 4 days or more from a cartomizer.

Why don't you order more cartridges so you don't have to buy disposables, or order more well before you run out. Seems daft to me only to have enough for 6 days and then buy dear disposables.

Ive just started doing this today, really want to cut the cost of vaping, found a nice tobacco flavour and topped one up and its a much beter vape then ive been getting using the original cartomizer, ive kept all the empty ones ive had from over the last month so they should keep me going for a while :)

Jasper and Jasper refills are rubbish. In the process of quiting the fags so decide to give this E cigarette a go. Still smoking but using the e cigarette to cut down. Bought the disposible one first and found it ok. So then i bought the rechargable one. The 3 refills that come in a pack do not last as long as 1 of disposibles. Plus you dont have to worry about recharging. Forget the chargeable one that retails for €20. Its a complete rip off.
Anyway bought the Kanger Twist starter pack online so Jasper and Jasper products are over for me anyway. It arrives next week so hopefully it will work and wont have to smoke a real cig again.
So basically if you are going to try a Jasper E cig stick with the disposible one and do not purchase the complete rubbish recharable one. Waste of money.

Just got the disposable yesterday and its gone already! i have been pulling out of it a good bit but deffo not 500 pulls! @ 8 euro thats a ridiculous price might be sticking to my rollies @ 5 euros every 3 days :/

Maybe move onto a good ecig instead of writing them off?

Those cig-sized ones are famed for their lies.

They are dreadful, good in a total fix if you're just out of battery / juice etc and need a very, very temporary stop gap.

I would say though, that a decent kit is much much better to proceed with. Also keep in mind the 'rollies are cheaper' argument is a road I've been down many times. The cost to your health is FAR worse. A good kit might cost you 50 - 250 quid but it will last far longer.

I'm still having some 'analogues' but I'm now spending a tenner every 5 days or so instead of every day. Not bad. It's cheaper and less horrifying for my health.

Give some stuff a go, if you're in Dublin I can throw you a few bits and bobs to try.

Cheers for the info, yeah I plan to get one online very soon. Really is crazy that they are not priced cheaper as an incentive to give up smoking. Maybe they will get cheaper through regulation, I can only see them going up tho!
