    Hey Guys
Ill hopefully be getting a job in Jan but not in the city I live.
Does anyone know if you purchase a taxsaver train ticket and pay for a cab to and from the station to your place of work, can tax be claimed back on this in any respect?
Have searched citizens advice with no result.
    Thanks
    RA

Afaik the taxsaver train ticket must be done through your employer. You cannot claim tax back for cab fares.

Exactly. Your employer must first agree to the arrangement, and the scheme is only for trains, dart and buses.
