    Hello,

I've been reading up the NUIM website and I'm still unsure what the difference is between the Computer Science course and the Computer Science and Software Engineering course?

They look about the same to me... Can anyone who has experience in these courses tell me?

    Thanks! :D

Computer science is a subject, CSSE is the course.

CSSE do more computer science modules than a student taking computer science through arts or science. There's also a 6 month work placement in the second half of third year.

1st year - same course as general science, you do maths, cs + 2 other science subjects.

2nd year - only 2 maths modules the rest all computer science.
