SR-25 spring?

    Hi i'm putting a spring into my SR-25 build, will a regular spring work or will there be a serious reduction in fps?

    what brand sr25? some have long cylinders, and some have long cylinder heads to make up the space.

    sorry didn't mention, it's a A&k shell so it has the the elongated v2.5 cylinder.

    i have put gaurder m85/90's in these in the past with no bothers.

    approx 310 fps with .2g bb's and stock barrel and hop up rubber.
