Can’t understand why they don’t play the O2, they would sell it out no problem. It’s Going to be a nightmare trying to get tickets for the Olympia again.

    Would they though?

I would love to have seen them in The O2, great sound there.
Thet might not have sold it out, but i think they would have a crowd of
between 8,000 to 10,000 and the atmosphere would have been Brilliant..
In saying that, i saw them at The Olympia in 09 and they nearly blew the roof
off. I hear that Neville Staples will not be part of the line up on this tour, as he
    is taking a break

Serious? That's not good! Oh well, I'll still try and get to this regardless! Was sickened I couldn't see them the other times, and this will prob be the last time they're here I would imagine.

Guys, any idea what happened to Terry Hall last night and why he got in such a mood at the end. Still a really good gig although I'm still unsure about the "string section". Strange to see a gig in the olympia and at 10.30.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 908 ✭✭✭skaface

I think he wasn,t happy with the sound there, and got annoyed more than once.
Thought the band played a great set , great to hear so many songs from their second album - hence the string section.. would be impossible to play those songs without them.
As for finishing at 10.30.. they played for an hour and a half, played 20+ songs..
i think they earned their few squid.. ( and they had to do it all again 2 nite in their 2nd Olympia gig).Ireally enjoyed it, sore today though :D:D
