My father has a UK spec TR, it is higher spec than the Luna sold here. The TR has dual zone climate controled air conditioning whereas the Luna only has manual air conditioning and temperature adjustment. The TR also has higher grade plastics and different style alloy wheels to the Irish Luna model.

It was supposed to be a special edition based on the T3 spec but costs less, they have cruise control and Bluetooth too.

First run of tr models (not 1.33) had less spec

The father's one doesn't have cruise control or bluetooth. It's a late 2009 pre facelift model.

It also has different suspension to the Irish market cars too (all Irish market Toyotas had a rough road pack). The original Auris is an absolutely rotten car OP, I would strongly advise looking at every other option that's available. If you're considering it because of perceived better reliability, look at a Honda Civic or else a Mazda 3 or as noted, the Hyundai i 30 or Kia Ceed, all of which are much nicer cars. The Focus is of course better than all of the above but is a small bit less reliable - the diesel needs to be serviced bang on time (which of course should be done with all cars) or else it will give trouble in the long run.

Irish market ones stopped getting rough road pack due to emissions. Think it happened in 2009 or whenever the 6 speed came out,
