Place to sell unworn wedding dress?

    My sister has a wedding dress that she's not using as her wedding is being postponed. Is there anywhere she can sell it, the price was about 2400 and is unworn so the money would mean much more to her now than keeping the dress

    weather it has been worn or not she better not expect more than a fraction of that price when selling it on because she will be sadly dissapointed is she does. thats just how it is unfortunatly.

    ebay, done deal etc best place to go.

    Weddingsonline would probably be the best place to sell it. If it was over €2k it's probably a big designer, and if it's one of the popular dresses then she would have a good chance of getting a decent price. I sold my worn and dry-cleaned dress for 45% of the original price so for unworn I reckon you could get up to 75% if you can find the right buyer. I remember when I was getting married La Sposa's Fanale dress was very popular and there were a lot of people trying to find second hand ones.

    I sold mine on gumtree in the end but it took 5 weeks with zero enquiries till I got one girl interested. It's a good time too, girls getting married next summer will be looking around now.
