    MM92
Found this code after I had finished my own shopping. Could give myself a slap. There are some good bargains like 50% off all designer bags.

Also this works on the UK site for anyone with parcel motel near by.

I know I was here poised to make my purchases on the UK site via parcel motel when I realised there is none in Galway!Doh:) I would've saved over 35 euro on one item even when including the parcel motel charge. I'm sickened. :)

I can't get the promo code to work? I'm trying ti apply it in Checkout. It takes teh code, howver no discount is applied. The thing being purchased already has a 15% disount by Debenhams - is that peventing a further discount?

I presume you are talking about the beauty products? If so, then it won't allow further discounts on them. I think 15% is the most they have ever had off them to begin with!

MM92 or GK62 codes are giving me 15% off an item (jeans) that already has 15% off! Also double points if you spend over €30, from 10 - 16 December.

Incidentally, does anyone find the on-line points don't credit...or is it just me?!

They dont work for me now?

Any other codes? I want to buy jeans

Both codes worked for me (tried with Wrangler jeans) - MM92 gives 15% and GK62 gives 10% off the already discounted price. Note you must use capitals or it won't work! The discount shows initially but doesn't deduct until you go all the way to the check-out stage i.e. after filling in name and address if a guest user or logging in if registered.

    they do.
I used parcel motel to save on postage but couldn't find anywhere for the promo code. 60% cheaper than the Irish site.

i wonder why it wont take my visa debt card so.

my visa card worked and it's Irish.

my visa card worked and it's Irish.

Is it Visa Debit ? My Visa Debit did not work for me as well. However, I still have my Moneybookers prepaid Mastercard and that worked fine on the UK site. That's my dad's xmas pressie sorted :)

I ordered 2 perfumes as well with it though. Anyone know if that'll cause any problems ? Amazon deliver perfumes and such only to the UK mainland. I'm worried Debenhams might be the same and cancel my order.

    So you were charged 3 times by Parcel Motel ? I ordered 2 jackets and 2 perfumes, that means I'll be charged 4 times if that's the case (€3.50 x 4 = €14) :o

Does the uk site deliver to Ireland? It won't accept my address!

    yes i was charged 10.50

I need to top up so. I think you can only top by €10.50 at a time so I'll have to top by €21.

When did you order btw and when did it arrive in your local motel ?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,893 ✭✭✭j4vier

last time i checked you could top up by several amounts, 10.50 was the minimum . i ordered saturday night, 2 items arrived today (still placed in 2 separate lockers) and 1 will be in the locker tomorrow i think

AFAIK if its a "laser" card it's only for the Irish market no one else recognises it

Multiple packages to PM sort of negates any savings from the UK.

Nah, one of the jackets I bought was £55 (around €68) on the UK site whereas it's €85 on the Irish. That's a saving of €17 on just one item :). Plus the Irish site didn't have the color I wanted.

Even with the multiple charges via Parcel Motel, I reckon I still saved around €25 by buying on the UK site. I'll be seriously gutted if my order gets cancelled.

Thanks for the replies it seems to work now.

If I wanted to return a pair of jeans I bought online that are on sale, would I have 28 days to return them and would I be refunded on the spot?

My order was just cancelled :(

I rang them today to see why cause I've had 3 orders cancelled, after being on hold for about 8mins she came back to say she didn't know and I had to mail head office.

Did that and got standard response saying will endevour respond in 4 working days so basically too late for Chrimbo.

Email is head.office@contactdebenhams.com if anyone wants it..

It would not accept my Visa Debit at all so had to use my old prepaid Mastercard. Thought all was good until I got the cancellation e-mail today. They charged me and everything, still waiting for the refund to come through.

I have used VJ36 as a 10% off code on the Irish website

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 390 ✭✭Nanoc

Went and ordered from .ie and used MM92 for 15% and after fatcheese as well of another 4% it actually is only about €3 more expensive so not too bad but still not happy about the cancellations!

  • Moderators, Science, Health & Environment Moderators Posts: 23,243 Mod ✭✭✭✭godtabh

more order shipped. Wouldnt accept a visa debt but I used another one which i think was visa credit. Got confirmation today

Sorry to drag up an old thread but a dress I want is only available on UK site. Have a parcel motel address in but it the site keeps rejecting my visa debit card. I've no credit card. Is there no way around this??

Opening a revolut account might sort it. It would give you great exchange rate too.

I've gotten around this using Entropay in the past. A virtual credit card, basically. Debenhams may be able to order it to a store for you, also. They have kiosks in store that allow you to order things in, or you could just ask staff if it's possible.
