    Hi All,

Not sure is this in the right forum but I'll give it a go anyway.

Looking to buy this TV as a present for xmas...

    http://www.pixmania.ie/ie/uk/11893348/art/lg/37ls5600-led-television.html

Anyone have any reviews on it or any dealings with pixmania??

Really want this TV because the dimensions is perfect for where it has to go but cant seem to find it in any shop in Ireland for this price.

Also, if I order today/tomorrow would it be here in time for xmas.

    Any help greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance,
    Audi02

I ordered the 32 inch version of that for 350. 100 cheaper than I could find it anywhere else. Very happy with it , excellent picture and lots of connections on the back. Delivery took about 4-5 days.

Ya everywhere else I find this TV seems to be €100 dearer aswell. Did you order from pixmania? No problems?? I've seen a lot of bad reviews on pixmania on here.

Ordered from pixmania. Have ordered several times before from them with no problems. Only issue with the order was the power plug is 2 pin, they were meant to send an adaptor with it but didn't. Adaptor cost me 5 euro in argos.

I have bought from Pixmania a few times. Yes, their prices are cheaper than just about any where else, but their customer services are piss poor. I've had some difficult times with them, but hey I keep going back so I know it's my own bloody fault.

Think Ryanair if they bought an electronics company.

My only bit of advice is book through fatcheese so that you can get a bit more money off.

Just seen on D.I.D electrical that they've a price match promise. Anyone know how this works? Would it work in this case?

I expect that they'll have a geographical restriction in place.

Remember with pix you have delivery fees. Approx €60 for a good sized telly.

So you may find that you can get d.i.d. to at least level the price. At least then you can say you are buying locally. But differences of €100 are damn hard to ignore.

Well I emailed D.I.D but got no reply so went with pixmania...worked out at €459 delivered, Was €449+€25.99 p&p-discount code of €16=€458.99.... far better than €599 so fingers crossed it gets here before xmas!!:)

I have the 47 inch version. It's a great tv, I bought it in Harvey Norman in February, think I paid €650 or something like that, after a bit of haggling

Ya I was in harvey norman yesterday and they had the 32" version out, looked like a lovely TV, asked could I see the 37" one but they said it was out back and they werent going out to get it so I thought to myself their not too bothered bout selling it so I left! They wanted €599 for the 37" too.
