    They have dropped their price to $99 and hope to have a data base if a million people in 2013.

    They are still struggling to define "Irish" DNA, and the British Isles and Western Europe are proving problematic in general. I've heard there is an Irish DNA project on though that is attempting to address this issue.

    The whole field is still developing. I'll probably spring for 23&Me soon now that they've dropped the price.

    I think seperating Ireland and British countries into seperate components will be tricky as given the traffic between the North of Ireland and Scotland even pre plantation I'd say people from the North might be closer to Scottish people than say Cork people.
    23andme have a component called unassigned North European I'd like to see broken out more as I gave about 25% of that.
