    Paper case
    Alphamax 3
    Manufactured under
    licence by
    Irish metal industries
    Dublin Galway
    On end of brass cap is KYNOCH 12 ELEY
    Anybody know anything on these

    Imi , irish metal industries were going until fairly recently , they had a warehouse in sandyford industrial estate , if you walked past you could see pallets of cartridges inside.

    IMI started as the main importers for copper tubing in Ireland, I used to deal with them from the early 80's, but they were in buisness well before then. They also were the main people who imported ammunition, one of the directors wad a keen Shooter.
    They folded up as a casulty of the down turn in thebuilding trade & multiple importers some time last year
