Time has come to change my LC100 06 to commercial. I note some LC100s back towards 04 were crew cabbed as in a partition installed behind the rear seats. The volume of the rear boot is very large. Can I still do this today or is it the full seats out job?

(I am actually bone fide re changing to commercial with my business and the jeeps days as family wagon are over).

the crewcab loophole closed in july 2003 so its no longer possible to do it at all. Even the 2003 ones had to have a lower floor welded in.

Provided its on irish plates and all VRT has been paid , then you can convert it to a 2 seat commercial only.

There was a bit of discussion on this in the Defender thread, you'll probably have to take the vehicle to an approved assessor before the VRO will change the registration document.

As it's a change of an already vrt'd jeep rather than an import there shouldn't be too much work involved.
