reminder - The poll threads will be open for comments BUT I will be deleting any comments that talk down nominated posters or their performances/logs/photos. It is okay to say "I think Jessica Ennis should win the award because her victory was so convincing and she performed so well even in her weaker events". It is not okay to say, "I think Ennis should win because Farah didn't really run well and he was just lucky that the race tactics suited him". Clear? I will mod this with a hammer. Boardsies have no control over whether they are nominated or not, so if they are put in the spotlight like this they shouldn't be criticised.

MFF knows his sh1t but he aint a new poster around here. He's been here a good 4-5 years at this stage!!!

Oregano State is somebody who has popped up in the last few months, who has a pedigree in the sport and who's opinions and advice are something which are always worth taking on board.

Honourable mention to Newbyrunner for shaking up a stale forum.

You do realise you have voted for every sprint related thread, poll, poster etc. Trying to even out the marathon bias?

A little bit yes. I don't think they would have appeared up had I not nominated them.

Then again I voted for Krusty in multiple polls. I can appreciate great marathon performances ya know. :)

Or was it the fact that he did the 400 in the summer that swung the vote for him. (He is a crafty one for the politics :D)

You know the answer to that one. :)

Then again, is there really anything wrong with voting for the area I am involved in? Everyone else does it right?

For motivating the Novice Thread throughout the year, inspiring people new to running via his log and showing that things that one thought might not be possible, is possible if you put your mind to it. Pageant Messiah gets my vote!

    +1 to pm.

Showed some serious balls running dcm, created the tracker spreadsheet for the novice forum and wrote a pretty inspiring log post Dcm.

My second preference is newbyrunner. Enjoyed some of the baiting...caught some pretty big fish too
