    Hi

A user set some preference via the System Prefs or keyboard shortcut but I cant find it. Note the black box below username/password boxes and the highlighting of those boxes too.

    Any ideas?

It's Voiceover - cmd F5 will switch it off.

    Thanks, that is it.

However if I disable it, log in and log off it reappears at the login screen.
Edit : Nevermind, somebody had enabled "Use voiceover in the login window" under Sys Prefs - Users - Login Options

    Thanks for your help.
