    Hi

My Dad is thinking of selling his car privately and I'm trying to get a ballpark figure of what he would expect to get for his car.

    Its a 2010 BMW 318I
    1996CC PETROL,
    35K KILOMETRES,
    METALLIC BLACK
MEATH REG - TAX BAND C
    AUTOMATIC
LEATHER INTERIOR, ALLOYS, SAT NAV, BLUETOOTH ETC - BASICALLY ALL THE EXTRAS.

Feck all driving one on it and it's i good condition - no damage to exterior

Can anyone give me an idea what he should take as a cash price?

    Thanks in advance

Very few petrol 318 s for sale in Ireland .....not such a bad thing I think from your point but I could be wrong , even less automatics, and few 2010 cars available altogether.

    New ones come with leather

    Closest so far, but manual.

If in a hurry I'd say 19900 but . Maybe start at mid 20's and work down quickly or take a trade in at the higher price

Only 3 petrol autos from 07 to 13 on carzone of any model 3 series I think my 19900 is right

Compared to this high miles 08 at 14k

    Hi - Thanks for that

He's been offered 20k cash for it and I wasn't sure if that was a good price.

Seems to be ok enough - He's going to dealer saturday to see what kind of trade in he'll get - Duffy's in dublin .

Good offer, and interesting to see how he does on a trade in

the new 3 series aren't exactly flying out,

he might as well go to frank keane in JFK blue bell and murphy and gunn miltown while he's in the big smoke,

they are three independents so put them up against each other.

I'd say best demand for that his , car petrol auto in miltown.

Lets see if I'm right again ! :D

What's he upgrading to? If he's not doing much mileage he might as well hang onto the car..it's just over 2 years old.

He's thinking of an another bmw - He's a creature of habit - every 2 -3 years he upgrades and has always got a bmw.

I want him to get an audi - might be able to talk him into it - suggestions?

He does no mileage 35k kilometres in 2 years - quite low in my opinion.
