Was just in top part in Tralee and picked up a 61 piece screwdriver set by draper tools for only €18.99
I know they have shops all around the country according to the website www.toppart.com so well worth a drop in especially if you were looking for a practical present this christmas.

Tried the Wexford store today and it was priced €39.99 :(

Edit: The other half just rang me - the Wexford store are going to get me a set sent up from Tralee for €19 plus VAT.

I just love the way they advertise these kits....61 pieces. Yeah right.

    Should read:

3 - large pieces that you will actually use
7 - other large bits that are just a bit too small or too big to
    be of any real use
1 - large bit that will hold the remaining..........
50 - tiny bits that no matter how hard you try not too, you will lose
50% of these ( at least ) within a few weeks, and the one that are
left, well you will NEVER need them.

bought one of these sets out of b&q a couple of years ago. 20-25 quid or whatever it was for a case of a load screwdrivers and bits. I thought same,, I'll never get to use most of them but sure if I need them, then I know I have them

had to replace a part on a dishwasher a couple of months ago. knew what the part was, place in tallaght who do the repairs wanted 60e for callout plus 40e for the part, need specialist equipment I was told.. got the part online for 25e, 2 mad looking star shaped screws with them. you know whats coming.... out with the b&q screwdriver box and there sitting in the middle of the bits was the one that fit the dishwasher part. I enjoyed me mug of tea that night. best few quid ever spent on that screwdriver box.

Better to have too many bits and bobs in a set than not enough. The brothers Xmas pressie sorted for me.. Think I'll go back an get another one for myself..
