Hey guys, wonder whether you can help with this. Just had a bird out on the feeders a few minutes ago about the size and build of a chaffinch, but with plumage of shades of brown and stark white. I got a photo but it's pretty grim quality. Never seen this bird before so wonder whether anyone can help identify it.

The head is white, with brown and white wings and a sort of pale, muddy brown breast.

I also agree with the last posters, looks very like a semi leucistic chaffinch....

Makes sense guys. Only one I've ever seen around here. Cool looking little thing. :)

The condition is quite common in birds such as Jackdaws, Rooks, blackbirds, sparrows etc. Keep an eye out when you are out and about, you never know what you will see..

A pair of leucistic Rooks near the MNSCI grounds..

Looks like a Siberian bullfinch to me
Can come in white and a mix of nice colours
    Could've escaped from a breeder
