    do esb meter in a house ever be replace . the meter in my house is at least 30 year old ?.and how do the esb know it working right.:)

    They do replace them, but usually the life span is 30 years or more. If they want to replace it you will usually get a notification.

    Old mechanical meters like that usually slow down with age - meaning you are slightly undercharged. This is why they routinely replace old meters (30 years plus)
