UPC box just says 'UPC'

    Hi

    Anyone ever come across an issue whereby their UPC box just has the text 'UPC' on it whenever you turn it on? I can access the channels through the TV menu but I can't use the UPC box at all. No button on the remote does a thing. Tried restarting the box multiple times and there's nothing wrong with the batteries in the remote or the connections

    got this sorted. just so anyone needs to know, when it displays a message of UPC it means that it's gone into startup mode for some unknown reason. you have to contact UPC and get them to activate it. after that it's just a case of running through the start up process and scanning for the channels
