While the country and people of Ireland are hit hard by the budget..Big Phil is off in Doha having a whale of a time, and all at our expense.

He looks very cosy there too, with his FG "friend"

Oh,did Big Phil ever pay that 4000 euro Portugal villa fee too????

He went very silent on that matter.
Remember his famous words on the matter..........

"Would you pay a charge if you were unhappy with the service?"

So can we all apply that to the property tax here in Ireland???

Rabble rabble rabble. I'm getting so sick of these threads. The Daily Fail should come with a health warning.

You do realise that the Daily Mail is a rag that isn't beyond telling outright lies if they think it will sell them a few extra copies. Don't read these newspapers, for your own good. The press has gone to sh!t but thankfully its being slowly killed by the internet.

You are assuming a hell of a lot. Daily Mail and a photo does a story not make.
    I will reserve judgement.

If only politicians got paid the average industrial wage and got no expenses then the recession / austerity would be over and there would be world peace and free lolly pops.

You forget not being allowed to ever attend meetings abroad like the government of every other country does (including North Korea). Ever.
