    My phone is android OS

Whenever I plug it in with USB , I get a prompt on screen, but screen is broken, so I cant accept this prompt

I have a lot of texts that I want to keep, but am unable to acess these

They are not stores on sim or SD card, but on the phone itself.

Any idea how I can recover these ??

STEP 1: Connect your Android phone to a PC or Mac. Then download and install the recovery program. Note: you can either connect the phone to the computer via a USB cable, or take the mass memory card out of the phone and use a card reader load and insert to your computer USB port.
STEP 2: Start to scan your Android phone memory for lost files. The process may take some time
STEP 3: Preview and recover found files easily.

Remember – before android data recovery, it is highly recommended not to save or edit data on your Android phone memory in case data overwritten may happeN.
    Hope it helps.

There is no need to use a recovery program. If the screen of your phone is broken, you can use an OTG cable to control the phone, and use data transfer tools(MobiKin Assistant for Android) to transfer texts or other data from phone to computer.
