Hollywood pays its biggest stars millions of dollar per film. Some are worth the money. Based on their last three projects, these 10 stars are not. We used data gathered from our Celebrity 100 research and Box Office Mojo to calculate how much, on average, each star's last three films earned at the box office per dollar of pay. Think of it like a star return on investment number.

Why would anyone pay him that much?

Wonder are they using actual earnings or reported? One of the worst kept secrets in Hollywood is that many actors "earning" $10/20m a movie are actually being paid a fraction of that

Who's that based on Sad Professor? Looks like a twat from how they spend their money at least...

$25k in Charity donations out of an after-tax salary of $10,811,540? That's the same amount percentage wise as someone earning $50,000 giving less than a tenner a month to charity.

Identifying individual performers as the reason for the income of a film is an argument put forward by incredibly rich people within the movie industry.
It is a bargaining tool for future projects.

The same public pronouncements include "I understand he/she is very difficult to work with."

This mentality also believes that a 'Fall in Profits'is a negative.

Adam Sandler for me. What an unfunny, boring, one dimensional, over paid douchbag. $20m for Jack and Jill! WTF?

Nobody in particular. Just your average A-lister. I got it from here:

I found the breakdown of taxes, fees, earnings etc, more interesting than the personal expenses, which I'd imagine vary greatly depending on the individual.
