Note sure if this is the right place ...but anyone got recommendations for a solicitor ? ...not sure Circuit Civil or High Court (Civil) yet.

Theres potential for a defamation action (High Court) ....and a civil action for damages following from an assault.

Does anyone here have any experience and/or recommendations for solicitors ? (I'm assuming that this is allowed ...not asking for legal advice ...just a recommendation for legal representation)

I am assuming from your from Cork, if you could confirm that maybe someone maybe able to send you info.

As an aside HC defamation action very costly and doubt many solicitors would take on case other than up front payment, unless its against a defendant with very deep pockets.

Again the assault (trespas on the person) action, unless the defendant has the means to pay any award and costs, you will have difficulty getting anyone to take it without at least outlays up front.

I'm not saying you have not thought of these issues, but in case you have not this could be a very costly exercise.
