    Ok I plan on going looking for some work in shops eg. Elverys and Smyths, the thing is although I have shop experience in Ireland its from 5 years ago, with four years of labouring then working in shops/hostel/labouring in Australia.

    My question is, do I leave out the gap of four years in construction as it has no relevance to shop work.

    Absolutely not! I know one recruiter who actively looks for people who worked on building sites.

    Right so should I put it in chronological order or should I put it at the end?

    I would put it in chronological order unless it disrupted a line of progression or if you wanted to group the sales jobs together to write about them together.
