Nokia message inbox (time received)

Does anyone remember on the older Nokia's when you had your phone off for say a few hours and when you turned the phone back on at say 5pm and you instantly received a text and it would say "message received at example 3:06pm", whereas now when you turn the phone on it gives the current time of message received.

    I find it very annoying.

For example, if you have your phone off for a few hours and you turn it on and instantly you get a text, and the text says "I'll call over to you in 5 mins" and it says received at current time, well how the hell am I supposed to know if it was sent 2 mins ago or 2 hours ago?!

I know it's a bit of a rant, but is there any setting/app to resolve this?
