    Any idea how they get the cheetah back if it misses the deer? I'd imagine it's not easy.

    I'd say it's same way I get my Harris hawk to come back
    Need to spend a lot of time and bonding with the animal before first hunt take it when it's a baby and rear it up yourself
    Makin the bond is the initial step
