3rd party extended warranty options?

Christmas is almost upon us and my parents have decided to pick up a laptop for my sister, who started college this year. We've decided to get it from Argos, but they don't offer extended product cover on items over €449, and my folks definitely want 3 year cover.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a 3rd party warranty provider?

    Thanks in advance!

Keep your receipt. Its under warranty from the manufacturer for two years. Be prepared to do battle after the first year if something goes wrong with it. Keep your important stuff backed up as you may have difficulty with a warranty claim for a faulty hard drive - no matter how old the computer is.

"Extended Warranty" is an ugly term that presumes the plans offered only extend the terms of the warranty, without providing additional coverage (and for the most part, that is untrue).
