A question about city centre kids

So far I've been studying in dublin for two year now(TCD). And over that period of time I moved and visited different counties around Ireland went to Kerry, Galway, and even Cork.

In all of these counties I noticed a lack of theme parks, fairs and arcades. I don't know about you guys but as I grew up these things used to be a major thing that made me happy as a kid. To be honest when I was in cork there was a fair, but it was so lame and very limited if you know what I mean.

So I was wondering what's the main source of outdoor entertainment for the Dublin city kids other than sports?
