    Hi
I am thinking of making a yard scraper for the front of the quad.
Where do you get the rubber for them, or would I be better off getting a hand scraper and making brackets for it?
    cheers

I have an old tractor yard scraper. A few years ago I managed to get replacement rubber from a local agri store (the kind that sell machinery too). They happened to have it thrown in at the back of a shed. So ask around, you might be lucky. You can cut it to size, but better to punch holes rather than drill. If you do drill, use a timber drill bit. It will still smell though.;)

You could also get 2 of the replacement hand scraper rubbers and join together. These are not as thick as the tractor scraper rubbers. These are in most COOP stores.

I'd say make it up yourself and add the rubber.. the hand scraper won't be fit for the pressure appled by the quad and may buckle.. You could make it stronger for the same money..
