    From Wrestlezone...

-Smackdown opened with The Big Show and Sheamus in the ring to sign a No-Contact Clause until WWE TLC. Soon after, The Big Show was put into a match.

    1. The Big Show defeated Daniel Bryan. This was a pretty solid match, with Bryan trying to kick down the giant numerous times. He finally got Show off of his feet and went to the top, only to get caught and chokeslammed from the top rope. After the match, The Shield came out and attacked Bryan. Kane would run down to save his partner, but gets a Triple Powerbomb through the announcer's table.

-Damien Sandow comes out to the ring, looking for an apprentice once again. Like Raw, the contestant fails, but out comes The Miz. He mocks and makes fun of Sandow. It looks like these two will begin a feud.

    2. 3MB defeated The Uso's and Brodus Clay. Drew McIntyre picked up the victory for his team after he hit the Future Shock DDT onto Jey Uso for the win. After, 3MB celebrated with some air guitar and dancing.

    3. Randy Orton defeated Wade Barrett in what was said to be a great match. Barrett was able to control Orton until he was distracted by Kofi Kingston, who was at the announcer's table. Wade would get hit with an RKO and pick up the loss.

    4. The Great Khali and Hornswoggle defeated Primo and Epico. Natalya was with the faces, while Rosa was in the corner of Primo and Epico. Nothing exciting in this match.

    - Antonio Cesaro and R-Truth talk in the ring, and begin to fight. Cesaro tries to get a cheap shot onto Truth, but he retreats. The US Title remains in the ring, but Truth celebrates and tries to egg Cesaro to come back into the ring.

    5. Sheamus defeated Alberto Del Rio in the main event of the night. The Big Show stood on the stage for the duration of the match. The crowd really seemed to be into Sheamus throughout the match, and Sheamus would come from behind and beat down Del Rio with White Noise and a Brogue Kick. After the match, The Big Show teased Sheamus into hitting him. Instead, Sheamus threw Ricardo Rodriguez into the crotch of Big Show, laughed, and celebrated as Smackdown went off the air.

while I understand the idea it should be pointed out he has faced all the other active heels recently as well. Show, Cesaro, Sandow, Tensai, Barrett, Ziggler. Not many options left.

    No Sin Cara again :(
I love the banter between JBL and Matthews when he's on.
With only 5 matches i'm expected a fair few Raw rewinds. Just realised this thread is nearly as active as last weeks thread already, good.

Sheamus v Del Rio has been done to complete and utter death, why anyone has any appetite for a millionth rematch is beyond me.

Its not either guys fault their is so much TV time to fill, but Smackdown can be groundhog day with rematches. I mean Orton and Wade have only came off a series of matches as well.

Their really is no point to Smackdown at the moment.:(

It looks like it's a decent episode but there's an awful amount of filler on SD these days.

Does Orton ever lose a match!? Sick of that awful RKO.

Why does he have to face a heel?

    Yes. Regularly.

Love the consistency of this. Not long ago Bryan going against Show made Bryan worry and Show was the monster. This time around, Show is told he's facing Bryan and Show gets a look of shock/fear and Bryan comes out no problem.
